When You Use a Cigarette Lighter While Filling Your Car at the Fuel Station, This is What Happens (Photos+Video)

Car on fire at a fillin station because of cigarette
A dash cam footage has captured the calamitous moment a woman accidentally ignites the fuel fumes by using her cigarette lighter while filling her car at the fuel station. As the footage unfolds, she is seen pulling the flaming nozzle out of the tank, seeking to blow at the flames to put them out.

But this only makes things worse. Terrified the petrol station was about to explode, the driver filming the scene speeds off. Local news broadcaster K-Inform reported the fire damaged the paint on her car and the nozzle of the pump.

This suggests further escalation was avoided probably by the petrol station staff or the woman who might have acted promptly to avoid an explosion.

However, the lesson from the incident has been learnt by all - don't ever use a lighter near a filling station to avoid putting your life in danger.
